Stay Afloat

Imagine for a moment that you are on a sailboat. It is a lovely day, the sun is shining, there is a slow breeze and the water is calm. It is the "perfect" moment and a lovely worry-free day.

Then from out of nowhere, the wake from a large boat comes by and disrupts your calm moment. The wave hits with force and almost topples your sail boat and throws you into the water.

Even though you cannot predict these moments, you can prepare for them. You can know where to grab hold, wear a life preserver or know where to put your footing to help balance you.

In life and business you can prepare too. You can

have a Plan B for your schedule,

have a buddy or partner to help support you,

alter your time blocking.

You do not have to let un-explained happenings sink you.

Unpleasant experiences can ( and will) happen, even on the best of days. You need to be prepared. This week do not focus on what can go wrong, do you best to plan for the right outcomes, but also know how to prepare yourself and protect yourself should a wave come out of no where. You just have to be aware and shift so you can stay afloat.
